Graham Brown, Managing Director (Age 50)
Graham is a recognised and experienced business manager and entrepreneur. This has included many years of international experience with major chemical companies including ICI and WR Grace (USA). He set up Aims Group in 1993 which was developed over the next 10 years through organic growth and acquisition into one of the UK’s largest health and safety and compliance consultancies. Graham led the sale of a stake to a venture capitalist, Isis, in 2002, and sold the entire group to Alfred McAlpine in 2003 for £15m.
Subsequent to this Graham was one of the founding directors of Scotia Wind. As Managing Director from 2005-2008 he led the business, which developed a site through the Planning Consent process for an 8 turbine wind farm in Stirlingshire.
Graham is also Chairman of Burcote Consultancy Ltd, which is an environmental and energy consultancy, providing services to the commercial property sector. He is also a minority shareholder in Hotbed Group Limited.
Fraser Campbell, Operations Director (Age 42)
Fraser began his career as an electrical engineering apprentice with the Stiell Group, and from there into a management role. From this technical background in contract and general management he was promoted to the position of General Manager in 1993. In 1997, he launched Stiell’s Facilities Management (FM) Division in Central Scotland and Stiell FM grew rapidly into a nationally recognised, leading edge, Total FM organisation.
Stiell Group was acquired by Alfred McAlpine in 2002, and Fraser became a Property Consultancy Director within Alfred McAlpine, advising FTSE100 organisations on how to optimise their FM and Real Estate operations.
Fraser left Alfred McAlpine in 2004 to establish his own FM Consultancy and Interim Management practice, where his assignments were mainly in the FM and Environmental sectors. This expanded into an Energy-related environmental consultancy, such as project management of a major wind farm and establishing a UK base for a European energy company, specialising in Combined Heat and Power (CHP) and wind generation.
John Ritchie, Director (Age 47)
A commercial property professional with over 20 years experience in commercial and retail property. He has worked in both commercial agency and corporate organisations and more recently has been providing advice to large corporate at Director level. John has extensive experience in the development, purchase and sale of commercial property. From 2005-2008 John was a director of Scotia Wind.
Larry Hannam, Director (Age 51)
A leading corporate real estate professional with over twenty years’ experience, Larry was instrumental in shaping Abbey National’s property portfolio through the 1990s; culminating in a ground breaking asset re-structuring. As Managing Director of Burcote Consultancy Ltd he has established an environmental and energy consultancy with a growing presence in the commercial property sector. Latterly, Larry was Director for Business Development and Strategy for Alfred McAlpine. From 2005-2008 Larry was a director of Scotia Wind.
