Amy joined Burcote Wind as a Project Supervisor in April 2011 having graduated from Heriot Watt University with an Honours degree in Chemical Engineering. Her interest in environmental concerns and the effort to tackle climate change has arisen through previous work with the Environmental Research Institute in Thurso, an academic partner of the University of the Highlands and Islands, and also through university study which focused on climate change and the need for sustainable energy production and design. Amy is a keen swimmer and musician playing a range of instruments; she specialises in the guitar and gives tuition in her spare time.
